Many displays with 4K HDR capability are having connectivity problems with HDMI 2.2 and smart cables like Redmere. There are two solutions people are finding to work if changing cables out is not successful or possible.
The most reliable has been the Key Digital KD-HDIFIX22. Inserting this device between the receiver and the display will solve many of the handshake timing problems people are having.

Another option is to use a 1×2 HDMI splitter like the Blackbird 4k Pro. This device is also inserted between the display and the receiver.
Before you purchase any of these make sure it supports all of the video data types you plan to use. Most of the devices being sold today do not support all of the video data types in the HDMI 2.0a standard.
