I have been in many home theaters where the lighting rattles when the subwoofer is at high sound pressure levels. Many times this cannot be solved by just tightening the fixture because the metal itself is resonating with the sound. A product like that shown above is a flexible weight with adhesive that can be used to reduce these vibrations. It does this by adding mass to the metal element which reduces its tendency to vibrate.
