I recently had an opportunity to work on a system with a beta version of the BDP-103. This is a very interesting product.
It supports the new Roku USB stick to add audio and video streaming capability to the product. The client was very happy with the functionality of this feature.
I really liked its ability to process video with two additional HDMI inputs and split the audio out from the player to a receiver. From what I saw the video processing was better than what was in the Panasonic GT50 display. This capabilities of this product at it’s $499 price point is impressive. It had a few glitches, but it was a beta unit. I am sure the final version will meet the typical quality level that Oppo delivers on their Blu-Ray products.
